MEET THE DOCTOR
Jessica Durham, O.D.
Dr. Jessica Durham is a Middle Tennessee native who graduated valedictorian from Springfield High School and went on to study Business Administration at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. During college, Jessica was actively involved in the University Honors program and Chi Omega Fraternity.
In 2010, Dr. Durham graduated magna cum laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. While in school, she was awarded the GP Contact Lens Clinical Excellence Award and served as president of the Optometric Private Practice Club. She also enjoyed traveling to Honduras for a medical mission trip. Dr. Durham completed her clinical externship training with Loden Vision Centers, where she gained extensive knowledge in cataract and lasik surgery, as well as treatment of eye disease.
After graduation, Dr. Durham returned to Middle Tennessee where she has practiced optometry for the last 8 years. She has performed thousands of medical and vision eye exams for patients of all ages. She is actively involved in the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, for which she serves as Chairman of the Board and Legislative liaison. Dr. Durham regularly attends the American Optometric Association's Congressional Advocacy Conference in Washington, D.C. where she advocates for patient safety.
Dr. Durham married her college sweetheart, Jeremy, a small business attorney. The Durhams enjoy running, UT football, Dodgers baseball, traveling, and community service. They currently reside in Franklin.
